UN Habitat publishes a book on performance assessment

UN Habitat has just published Building Sustainability Assessment and Benchmarking: An Introduction, which provides a timely introduction and update to sustainable performance assessments for buildings. In addition to covering important general issues such as weighting of indicators and

predicted v. actual performance, the book also provides thumbnail introductions to a variety of performance assessment systems. Systems covered range from the large commercial systems (e.g. LEED, BREEAM and DGNB), but also include less well-known platforms, such as HQE (France), NABERS, LOTUS, SBAT and SBTool.
