The
focus of the SBC
08 Case Study Buildings will be the fifth
comparative test of an international methodology
for the assessment of environmental performance.
Projects, including offices, multi-unit
apartment buildings, schools and mixed-use buildings,
will be selected for their suitability
to test the assessment system as well as
other regional systems.
Details of each assessment process and its result will
be presented in the conference sessions. Beyond their
value in testing the system, the Case Study projects
will also also provide outstanding examples of the sustainable
approaches in design and construction that we need to
adopt.
